Outdoor Weatherproof Acoustic Sound System Installation: Dr. Reddy Memorial, Hyderabad
Sound Emporio engineered, supplied, and integrated a comprehensive, all-weather commercial acoustic distribution network for the prestigious Dr. Reddy Memorial in Hyderabad, Telangana (PIN: 500049). The project required uniform background speech clarity and commemorative audio across landscaped gardens, open granite courtyards, and stone colonnades while maintaining minimal architectural intrusion.
1. Project Scope & Acoustic Requirements
The memorial site spans open-air stone courtyards, tree-lined walking tracks, and open granite pergolas. The client required an enterprise-grade public address and background sound solution that met three non-negotiable criteria:
- All-Weather Reliability: Complete operational protection against heavy monsoons, high humidity, and extreme summer heat.
- Architectural Camouflage: Audio hardware had to blend seamlessly into architectural stone cutouts and garden grounds without exposed wiring.
- Intelligibility Without Reverberation: Highly directional dispersion to prevent harsh echo reflections off hard granite and stone walls.

3. Weatherproof Rigging & Subterranean Cabling
To achieve even acoustic coverage across the open lawn and tree canopy, Sound Emporio installed four Beta 3 N10F (10") high-output weather-resistant speakers. Each cabinet is constructed with UV-stabilized composite enclosures and water-shedding front grilles. Custom-fabricated, anti-corrosive powder-coated steel posts were anchored into heavy concrete bases, with heavy-gauge audio lines concealed below ground level using watertight industrial conduits.

4. Architectural Granite Niche Integration
Rather than cluttering the clean facade of the memorial's modern granite masonry, two Beta 3 N8F (8") loudspeakers were custom-mounted within the geometric cutouts of the stone pergola. This placement prevents direct glare, protects the hardware from side winds, and utilizes the stone aperture to direct speech clarity right down the walking path without destructive boundary reflections.

5. Centralized Multi-Zone Rack & Power Amplification
Audio routing and amplification are housed in a mobile, heavy-duty 19-inch road flight case on industrial locking casters. The system integrates four Beta 3 AN3 3-channel mixers equipped with USB and Bluetooth connectivity for independent multi-zone audio streaming, driven by two Beta 3 BA240P 240W mixer amplifiers and a high-efficiency Beta 3 DT2004 power amplifier with balanced XLR patch routing.

6. On-Site Acoustic Walkthrough & System Testing
